Q: I did not receive the confirmation mail when I registered to the website! A: If you are using hotmail, yahoo! or gmail, they put the confirmation mail into the spam folder mistakenly. Check your spam folder and mark the mail as "not spam". And then click the link in the mail to confirm your registration. Q: I am not receiving any mails from ICC Austin! Help! Cause I'm missing all the great events :( A: The mails are most likely did not pass the fancy spam filters implemented by various mail providers such as gmail, yahoo! and hotmail. However, fear not! there are ways to fix this. For gmail users: Gmail users should be able to receive our emails with no problem. For hotmail users: Hotmail really hates us. We are still trying to figure out how to pass their spam filters. We are unable to solve this problem. Please use other mail providers such as gmail or yahoo! For yahoo users: Yahoo seems to be our better friends. As far, yahoo mail users seem to receiving mails from the mailing list. Mails about site registration and others might go to the spam folder though. To fix this, adding the confirmation email to the not spam list should help. ICC Austin techies are working hard to troubleshoot these problems, so bear with us. Other mail providers such as AOL, Juno, austin.rr seems to hate us very much. They do not allow any mail coming from our mail server. If this is the case, please notify us. We have a special work-around for this
